Hi, I do have a problem with my shopping cart and the emails send to customers. Customers usually have to pay EUR 5,90 for shipping if they don’t exceed EUR 50. All that works well. Now e.g. if I add a coupon that might allow costumers to use free shipping for once it has a problem showing that properly if the sells item is below EUR 5,90.

E.g. If they add products worth 10 EUR to my cart it shows as follows:

    Product 10 EUR
    Shipping Costs 5,90
    Coupon Free Shipping – 5,90
    Total payment EUR 10

    Thats correct.

Now I have an item that only costs EUR 5,50 and if they get a coupon for free shipping than it does the following:

    Product 5,50 EUR
    Shipping Costs 5,90
    Coupon Free Shipping – 5,50
    Total payment EUR 5,90

It seems that the system says if the price is below the normal shipping costs than I don’t allow that to be decreased. So I only give a coupon of EUR 5,50 instead so the shipping costs that still occur to the seller are earned. Nice but not what I told the coupon to do. One might say that I don’t earn enything, but if friends or neighbors order something, than it doesn’t make sense to charge them shipping cost since I will give it to them in person. That occurred today and didn’t make sense.

AND: We placed an order today worth EUR 17,45 incl. EUR 5,95 shipping costs minus coupon of EUR 5,90. It showed the correct prices and said payment to costumer would be EUR 11,55 but than he received an email about hs order which said EUR 17,45 and didn’t include the coupon. Even so it did at check out. Under orders in my system it didn’t show it either that the client has used a coupon. How can that be fixed?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not? All this functionality is a part of the WooCommerce plugin and our theme doesn’t influence it.

    Regards
