I have test your site actually your favicon is not applying because the issue is with your favi.svg file. It seems it’s too small. When I used some other image for your favicon it works:

I used your svg favicon image in my test site and it also not shown on my test site. So you have to use some other image for your favicon.

Have you tried another file? As I already describes you that the issue is with your file.
Your favicon functionality is working just fine and works for all the other images. Try to use the same file with different format like .png or .jpg.
