    Hello,

Is it possible to filter products that are on sale in the product category archives? Something like this plugin ( https://demo.products-filter.com ), but within the theme? I’d prefer not to use the plugin as it’s styling and UI doesn’t match Woodmart (nor look as good).

We’ve used the WooCommerce shortcode to display all sale items, but we want the ability to display all sale items within a category. And ideally, filter sale items by attributes.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Yes, it is possible. You have to first create the custom HTML Block by using the Product Filter Element >> Then add the Filter by attribute and select the on sale products. Please see the screenshots:

Then use this custom block shortcode in the Product Category description.

    Best Regards.

Ah, yes, we’ve discovered this method already. However, it does mean having to set a “Sale” attribute to every on sale product, which takes a long time (with over 200 sale products that change monthly). I was hoping there’d be a way to do this based only if a product had a sale price set.

    Hello,

Yes you have to edit the products one by one and select that attribute or that specific category in which you add the html block shortcode in description.

Filter by attribute is the only way to use your custom filter in your categories list to display the on sale items.

Currently that functionality is not available that if you set a sale price of some product and it automatically goes to on sale filter.

The default Woocommerce does not have such an option, unfortunately. Our theme does not have such option either. You will have to find a plugin or customize.

    Best Regards.
