Product Categories Widget / Subcategories in Header – wrong amount

Hi,
since the update to the latest version i have problems with the categories widget and the subcategories in the header. I have 5 main categories, in the widget i get only shown 3, in the header i get 3. Why is that?

I have seen your attachments. About your header categories it seems you have enabled the “Show current category ancestors” option from Theme Settings >> Shop >> SIDEBAR & PAGE TITLE. That’s why it did not shown the categories with zero products. Or might be those categories which are not shown are the subcategories of some other category and shown on hover.
About the sidebar categories. These categories shown with the WooCommerce functionality and our theme does not influence this. It might be your custom code or some third party plugin conflicts with the WooCommerce. You can check with some default theme like twenty nineteen so it will be clear that this is the theme issue or not.

Hi, th first seems to be solved, thanks.
The second problem occurs, when changing the Sorting from “NAME” to “CATEGORIES SORT”. In Name, everything looks fine, including hierarchy. Changing to the other option, it displays the behavior like in my screenshot.
Any idea?

You can test with deactivating your third party plugins. It is also possible that some third party plugin conflicts with default WooCommerce functionality.
Because at my test site all the options of “Product Categories” widget working just fine.
