Filter attribute for specific category only

    My problem:
    1. I want to have different product attribute filters for certain categories above the product grid.

    2. Filtering for a certain attribute currently displays ALL products matching the attribute; ignoring the category they are in. When the user is, for example, in category “Jackets” and filters by size “S”, i only want to display products that match attribute: S and category: jackets. The user should not see results in S from other categories like T-Shirts, Sweaters, Shoes, etc… how is that possible ?

    Hello,

    1) To display different product attribute filters for specific category before the product grid. You can use WoodMart layered Nav Widget inside the “Shop Filters” and select a category from “Show on category” option.

    In result that specific filter will only shown on that specific category page before the product grid inside the shop filters area.

    2) User can first select the specific category and then search the filters by attributes so that category will not ignored.

    So in your case user first have to select the “Jackets” category and then select the size filter “S” so that small size jackets will be filtered out only.

    Hi Aizaz,

    thank you, that worked fine for adding my filters.

    Now i just need to customize the widget area. I want to remove the price filter and make the “sort by” filter a dropdown, like the other two testfilters. How can i do that?
