As your shared links did not pick up the current favicon. And when you share something then the default image shown.
It seems your site or browser cache. Kindly clear your site and browser cache. Also read and follow the below article that might help you: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/having-trouble-with-site-favicon-in-some-browers-using-this-theme/
Also you contain CDN (Clodflare) flush your server CDN cache as well. I suggest you to disable those cache tools while your site is under construction.
Also you need to make sure that you are using your favicon in Appearance >> Customize >> Site Identity >> Site Icon.
