Show Single Variations on product category page

    Hi,

    Is it maybe possible at your theme to show Single Variations (of my variable products) on my product category pages?

    I have found in the market the external plugin “https://iconicwp.com/products/woocommerce-show-single-variations/” but I am not sure if it will be compatible with your theme or it may cause issues on site.

    Yes, you can create a variable product with a single variation.

    If I create a single variation, when a user gets into the product, he won’t be able to see the rest of variatios that the product is available.

    For example if I have a variable product with 2 colors (red & green), how can I show both colors at product category page without creating separate products for each variation-color?

    Hello,

    When you assign the product to the category all the variations relate to the category as well.

    Our theme does not influence on the nature of Woocommerce variable product.

    I think that you didn’t understand my question :-).

    You can check the following plugins to better understand my desired function:

    Both of the above support the option to show single variations on shop & product category pages.

    regarding the 1st plugin, I have read these posts at your Woodmart support forum:

    At this one, you replied that Variation can be added to the cart as a whole product with particular parameters. But wishlist and compare work only with parent products (so I suppose that Woodmart theme has issue with its wishlist function when “WooCommerce Show Single Variations by Iconic” plugin is enabled).

    2) https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/issues-with-woocommerce-show-single-variations-plugin/

    At this one, you replied that Quick view function would not work with the plugin “WooCommerce Show Single Variations by Iconic”. You said: “You will have to decide: this plugin or quick view”.

    It would be great if your theme had by default such an option.

    Have you maybe considered implementing this feature in your forthcoming updates?

    Hi,

    Just to inform you that I have also found an official plugin from WooCommerce for my desired purpose:

    It would be really great if you could test its compatibility with your theme. This feature empowers shop owner to show variations as simple products on shop, category, and other listing pages.

    Hello,

    We cannot test all the plugins related to Woocommerce. We tell all our clients to use free plugins, or paid with an option for a refund if it is not incompatible. If the plugins are not incompatible, contact the plugin support. In general, our theme is always compatible with high quality plugins.

    Yes I fully understand your way of working. I just recommended as a client of your theme the function of the above plugin to be implemented if possible at your feature theme updates.

    One extra question please, have you maybe tested your theme with WP ALL Import (http://www.wpallimport.com/)? I wish to upload multiple variable products on my shop via CSV file but I am not sure if your theme will recognize multiple images on my variations (for exaple variation 1–> photo1.jpg, photo2.jpg, photo3.jpg e.t.c). Let me inform you that I have already enabled “Variation Image Gallery” option from your theme settings.

    We have not tested this plugin. The list of plugins that we have tested and they are 100% compatible are presented on the page of our theme.

    Ok thank you very much.

    Waiting then for your further theme update in the future for showing single variations on shop & product category pages. This would be a great feature as your theme already offers many options for shops :-).
