Hello –
I updated my websites this weekend to the newest version of Woodmart.
Today, I received duplicate orders, on one website, from the same person, who processed their order thru Afterpay (which we offer on our site.)
When I get an order in my admin area, and open it up, it shows a box with a reduction of stock levels (I assume this info comes from Woo?)
For the first order, the levels were reduced by one, with some items being sold out.
For the second duplicate order, it shows TWO stock level reduction boxes, (almost like she ordered the same items, twice, in the same order, even though she only ordered one of each item), and then it actually allowed her to purchase a “sold out” item, and reduced the stock from zero to -1!
I have never seen this happen, as the stock reduction levels always work. And this is the first order we’ve received since the Woodmart update.
I’ve talked to Afterpay, and they don’t think it is their problem, even though both orders were processed thru them, where they allow customers to pay over time.
They think it is a Woo Commerce problem, but since I don’t have the “paid” version of Woo, they won’t do a thing.
I am writing you guys to see if there was some sort of coding, in your latest update, that could have caused this weird order issue?
I can understand how a customer could mistakenly place two orders, but I don’t understand how sold out items can be added to the cart and then purchased in a second order?
I will attach my login info below, in case you want to check it out.
Thanks.
