WpBakery & Demo Content Import – not in posts

Two fold question please 🙂
1) Demo data imports in code – with the shortcodes coded (see screenshot) – been a while since I have been in WP but is there not normally a shortcode widget when editing?
2) getting head round WPBakery – how come you can’t use WPBakery on Posts?

WP bakery page builder is available for all posts types:
Navigate to WP Bakery Page builder > Role Manager http://prntscr.com/lqfzji
Enable WP Bakery Page builder for posts http://prntscr.com/lx3o2t
