adammundayParticipantCould you advise how to add a woocommerce ajax product search to the mobile menu?
We can add this to the desktop header but the mobile menu will only search for posts?

To add an ajax product search to the mobile header you can add a search and select form style for products from WoodMart >> Header Builder >>Your default header >> Switch to mobile layout.

adammundayParticipantYes that’s correct, we have followed that process exactly.
However as per screenshot “IMG_9170.jpg” it has added a posts search not products.
Could you advise?
January 16, 2020 at 1:11 pm #168363Hello,
Could you please deactivate all the third party plugins and switch to parent theme(if you are using child theme) then check back once with theme default plugins after clearing your site and browser cache.
In case if the issue is still there then remain the plugins as disable and provide your admin login credentials so I will check and help you out.
Best Regards.

adammundayParticipantThe issue still, remains here. Whilst you are logged in please can you look at the following:
1. Products Search on mobile as per the above
2. The green categories drop down on the home page
This seems to automatically drop down when you visit the homepage. This obstructs the slider. This does not seem to happen on other pages. See screenshot3. The custom error 404 page we configured in Theme settings does not display correctly. See screenshot

adammundayParticipantAlso please look at one more issue:
4. We have an issue with the footer not displaying correctly on small displays and iPads.
However this works fine on mobile where sections are minimised.
Please advise how to get this to display correctly on Tablet/ Small desktops

1) Your problem is resolved. Now in the mobile devices the search for products is showing. Actually you are using two searches in your desktop layout. First search is for products and second is for posts. Mobile layout always inherits the search of last module which is using inside desktop layout. So I switch your post search to products and it get fixed. You can use the first search element for posts.

2) Now that green categories drop down on the home page not showing opened always. It will show on hover. Because I disable the “Open categories menu” from your home page.

3) Yes I have test your site and your “404 error” page is not working fine. It seems the CSS for that page not loading from server. In your console “The server responded with a status of 404 ()” error shown.
Kindly deactivate all the third party plugins and then check back. This will surely fix the issue.
4) Your footer looking fine at my end as it currently have just three columns, kindly check back after clearing your site and browser cache.
Best Regards.

adammundayParticipantThankyou for looking at these.
1. Now Resolved – thank you
2. Now resolved – thankyou
3. 404 Error – We currently have all plugins disabled and the issue still remains.
4. We have cleared site and browser cache and the footer still does not look correct on IPAD- See screenshot. The widgets should sit side by side like the desktop?

I’m glad that your first two issues resolved.
I have test the 404 page. It still shown broken, your console also shown some 404 errors, If you have any custom code added in any theme file then remove that code and then check back after clearing your site and browser cache.
Actually you have used recent view products in your footer column 3 and whenever a person visit more than one product the the column length increases so you can replace the content of footer column 3 with footer column 4 so if the length increases then there is no next footer widget shown and none of the column disturbs.
Best Regards.

adammundayParticipantThanks
3. 404 Error – We don’t have amy custom code added anywhere. Please advise
4. Footer – I see what you mean regrind the recently viewed products. Ideally we would like the footer widgets to re-size side by side from iPad to desktop. Is it possible? See screenshot Screenshot 2020-01-17 at 13.02.13.png

Your console shown some 404 errors due to server configuration. Kindly contact your host for this issue and also try to use Wp-Rocket plugin to clear your site cache.
That’s what I described you that normally all the footer columns are in a smooth way. But in your case you are using recent view products widget so that if a person visits your site for the first time and did not visit any product then that footer column will remain empty and the length of that column exist on the inner content.
Best Regards.

adammundayParticipantThanks.
But if we add something other than the recent products (say another menu for example) the columns still do the same thing?
See screenshot

I have seen your screenshot and your footer looks just fine now. Your column did not do the same thing when you add something else rather than the recent products.
Best Regards.
