    Hello,

    Our theme can’t influence the Google Map request. It is just a regular request to load the map on your home page and there is nothing wrong about it.

    Yes, this request to the Google API server may take some time and slow down your website a bit. All optimizations plugins and cache can’t change anything about this request.

    We can hardly advise you here and it depends on your needs. Of course, if you want to make it lighter you may decide to remove the map from the home page completely.
