ex501ParticipantWhen using WPML issue appear with product categories. It automatically add extension to default category slug for example if English slug is battle-net German slug will be battle-net-de.
This cause problem on woodmart product tabs when switching to German version of the site. No products is displayed on tabs or grid or anything.
What is the solution for this?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Create the translations of the products and they would appear.
This is the way WPML works and our theme does not influence.

ex501ParticipantIs that the only way?
I have 1800 products in store :/February 13, 2020 at 4:38 pm #173271
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
If you want to see the product in the translated category, yes, you need to translate the products related to this category at least.

ex501ParticipantWPML claims that products can be “not translatable” – system can use same products with same description without translating it. However they don’t appear in woodmart tabs on different site language and you claim that theme is WPML friendly.
Where is the problem?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please refer the WPML documentation. Not translatable is the feature of WPML you can activate and deactivate it. When you create a translation, WPML just clones the initial product page, then you save and configure to translate it independently and insert the translation.
Our theme is compatible with WPML 100% please read and follow the WPML documentation thoroughly. Check the issue on the Storefront theme to see that our theme does not cause the problem.
Best Regards

ex501ParticipantYou didn’t understand. You don’t have to translate products because they have option “If not translated show original content”. And that feature is WORKING.
Problem is, that woodmart theme doesn’t show this products in tabs on german pages where I add woodmart shortcode.
I don’t want to translate products and have duplicated products with different IDs!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Our elements are based on the functionality of WP Bakery page builder. WP Bakary page builder works in the way as follows: If you show the post (Product is the custom post type) you should specify the category. If you specify the category and it does not have the translated products, it would show nothing. Try to insert categories in English in the tabs on the German page. If this trick would not work, you will have to make the translation for the products.
Best Regards
