becorporateParticipantHi there,
I’m trying to translate you theme in PT, EN, NL and FR, however, there are some words or specific parts that don’t translate.
The mini-cart section doesn’t translate, it’s always in PT. even when it has products in it.
And in the ‘Recent products’ feature, the button ‘Read More’ doesn’t translate to NL.
I checked all the .PO files and they’re all correct.
You can check the flaws on the website.
Best regards,
Joana

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for creating the topic.
1. If you are talking about “Read more” button on the products in “Most popular” section so it’s translation comes with WooCommerce pot file, not the theme’s POT.
2. Mini cart is also translated on PT version except “Subtotal” word. It is also coming with woocommerce plugin

becorporateParticipantHi,
Every POT file are translated, even the minicart and Subtotal is a portuguese word too.
Mini-cart is always in portuguese, it doesn’t matter wich language you choose, and that’s a problem because the translation file is there, translated.

Artem TemosKeymasterAre you able to provide us your admin access so we could check why “Subtotal” is not translated?
As for mini cart translations try to change the language and add something to cart, it should change it’s language after this. The problem is that shopping cart in header HTML is saved in browser storage after adding to cart. So when you change the language you see widget saved on another one. This is how woocommerce work and we can’t influence this. You can also check standard woocommerce cart widget with standard wordpress theme, they will work in the same way.

becorporateParticipant‘Subtotal’ is a portuguese word, all the mini-cart is in portuguese.
And when you change the language of the site, all the site changes to that language so the mini-cart should be able to translated aswell.

Artem TemosKeymasterYes, it changes, but only after adding something to cart. As we already said the problem is that shopping cart in header HTML is saved in browser storage after adding to cart. So when you change the language you see widget saved on another one. This is how woocommerce work and we can’t influence this. You can also check standard woocommerce cart widget with standard wordpress theme, they will work in the same way.

becorporateParticipantYes, you were right but if you are in the english page and click on the products, the page single-product doesn’t translate… it goes to the original version (portuguese)
July 11, 2016 at 3:52 pm #1876
Artem TemosKeymasterWhen we change language to english we can’t see any products at all. Could you provide a link where we can see this? Maybe some category that contains products both in portuguese and english.
July 11, 2016 at 5:01 pm #1878
becorporateParticipantthe product SLIP ALTER EGO, exists in portuguese and français, (it’s on the homepage), but if you click in it, he goes to the single product page in french and not portuguese.
also, he is the same categories and portuguese and french and when you try to look for the product it doesn’t appear.
In the 1st link you should be able to see the product but doesn’t appear nothing at all.
The 2nd link is the single product page in french
and the last one is the homepage in french and if you choose the product there, the website redirects you the the 4th link instead to the 2nd.

Artem TemosKeymasterWe are afraid that this wrong behavior doesn’t depend on out theme and it is more WooCommerce or WPML related issue also. Since our theme provides only appearance for woocommerce functionality it doesn’t interfere products permalinks. Of course we would be glad to help you but don’t have a solution to this problem at the moment. You can check how it works with standard theme also.
Thank you for understanding.

becorporateParticipantI solved the problem but now the sites doesn’t find his own pages, even in their original language.
Looks like the link is broken.
You can see the page created in the backoffice, and when you go to the link, it says the page doesnt exist.
July 12, 2016 at 4:15 pm #1918
Artem TemosKeymasterJust visited your web-site and checked a few pages. It seems to work okay. For example this page https://yucciesunderwear.com/en/contacts/
July 14, 2016 at 9:32 am #1969
becorporateParticipantIt doesn’t now.
If you add a product to the cart and try ‘checkout’ or view cart, it goes to the right page but in other language (PT, it’s the original language)
All the associations are right and the translations too.
Is there any change that there is a problem with the URL’s?
Because the URL doesn’t translate for some reason.
July 14, 2016 at 3:53 pm #1977
Artem TemosKeymasterWe still don’t see the problem. Anyway we would be glad to help but it can’t be our theme issue. Please contact WPML plugin support for help. URL is generated by wordpress and this plugin, not our theme.
Thank you for understanding.
