Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshots you attached. To display attributes swatches on the product grids you need to Go to Theme Settings >> Shop >> Attributes >> Display attributes swatches.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have visited your website. And checked the attributes you added and it seems that you haven’t configured the attributes values in the Products >> Attributes.
Screenshot for Clarification: https://ibb.co/JnbJ1mY
Please make sure that you have configured the attribute items from Products >> Attributes.
Then Clear cache and check back.
Best Regards.

n.pervaizParticipantMaybe you switch to “Deutsch” then you will see that they are there !
We just add few for testing. We will do add all Swatches when it works fine.
As already told you you can see on Details Page they are shown. See this Example.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshot you attached. Let me explain in a better way. The product attributes are set to use as variations for the variable products.
Means that you need to use it for variations from the single product and then make sure that you have set the prices of each attribute variation from the single product page to display them on the product grids that’s how it works.
Screenshots for Clarification: https://ibb.co/kGTFdPy
You need to set the attributes for variations and then define prices for each variation from the single product page to display them as swatches on the grid.
Best Regards.
March 17, 2020 at 8:09 am #180335
n.pervaizParticipantHello,
All Prices are Set for the Variations of an Products already. You can open the Variation and check it yourself.
It is not working! The Strange thing is that it is shown on Details Page but not on Homepage and Grid. Why it is shown only on the Details Page then ?
Please check again.

n.pervaizParticipantHello,
Ok what does it mean then ?
Do we have to use Parent theme instead of the Child Theme? As well all the Changes we made are gone now. Like Footer and all other Settings. Can you please switch back to the Status it was before.
Thank you.
Regards
N.Pervaiz
March 17, 2020 at 9:02 am #180347
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Sometimes the child-theme doesn’t function properly that’s why some of the problems occur. I might have some third party plugin conflict issue. You can try activating the child theme and leave the third party plugins deactivated.
If it works properly for you then you can keep it. Otherwise you need to recreate the child theme and you can copy the customization from the previous child theme to the new one.
Best Regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have found that you have not translated the products and attributes in both languages that is why the attributes not showing fine after enable the WPML plugin. This is not the theme issue, this is only the WPML settings and requirement issue, you should translate the attributes in both languages then your issue will be solved.
Also, for further queries related to the WPML, please ask the WPML support they will guide you properly and accurately.
Best Regards.

n.pervaizParticipantHello,
I just tried that with the Color “Schwarz” and Translated it to English into “Black”.
Still not working.
What now ?

N.Pervaiz
March 17, 2020 at 1:23 pm #180472
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
But you have not translated the product or not assigned any product to that Black color then how it will show on the frontend. As I told you in my previous reply that you should translate all the products and attributes into both languages then your site will work fine.
If you don’t know about the WPML plugin configuration then please ask the WPML support or read the WPML documentation here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/There is no issue in the theme and WPML compatible with the theme.
Best Regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have added the Test color as attributes in both languages: http://woodev.scarlet-products.de/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=pa_test-colors&lang=en&post_type=product
Then add the product in both languages and add the attributes in the variables: http://woodev.scarlet-products.de/product/test-product/?lang=en
Then add this product in the new element on the home page in product grid carousel: http://woodev.scarlet-products.de/
There is no issue found and the swatches are showing fine on the products, please see the screenshot: http://prnt.sc/rhtwwv
Best Regards.
March 17, 2020 at 2:59 pm #180508

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
The main issue was that the swatches were not showing before but now you can see that the swatches are showing fine on the home page so I think it is very clear that there is no issue in the theme with WPML compatibility.
Yes, now some of the attributes are not showing because WooCommerce Multilingual creating the issue, I have disabled it now all the three colors are showing fine with WPML plugin.
Best Regards.

n.pervaizParticipantHello,
It is find that your Test Product is shown now with the Colors. But can you explain me why what is the difference betwwen your Products and our Products. Why they are not shown ? And ours are ? Because we created same way the Products with Attributes and now we want to add the Swatches to it. Why are our Products not shwon with the Swatches I gave you an Example why this is not shown ? What are we missing here ?
Is it a Problem that we add the Swatch Color after creating the Products and Attributes or what ?Regards
N.Pervaiz
March 18, 2020 at 8:28 am #180644
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
As I already told you that you have not translated all the attributes and products in both language that is why it is creating the issue for you. I have added the new translated attribute to this product: http://woodev.scarlet-products.de/produkt/gil-herren-lederjacke-elegant-rider-mit-einsteck-brusttasche-feinstes-leder-klassisch-vintage-retro-motorrad-farbe-schwarz/ now the black color is showing fine in this product as well. Because this black color attribute is translated in both languages also the product is translated in both languages.
So please ask the plugin author support to give you the easy and possible solution to translate all the the added attributes and products in both languages.
You can check the above product as well which is perfectly showing the attributes swatches. Also, enable the swatch for every attribute from here: http://prnt.sc/ri8o9c
Best Regards.

n.pervaizParticipantHello,
Thanks for your Help. I checked we missed this one.
“You can check the above product as well which is perfectly showing the attributes swatches. Also, enable the swatch for every attribute from here: http://prnt.sc/ri8o9c”
Can you explain me another thing. How can I get a “White” Color Swatch shown on the Page as there is no Option to have a Line in Black for white color.
Thank you.
Regards
N.Pervaiz
March 18, 2020 at 11:08 am #180695
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
To add white color swatch you need to create a new attribute item and set the value of color to white. As you have configured the other attributes.
Screenshot for Clarification: https://ibb.co/FHN8xVF
Best Regards.
March 18, 2020 at 12:57 pm #180721
n.pervaizParticipantHello,
Yes that we did already. That is clear to create Swatch.
But how do we get a Black Circle around as in your Screenshot. Because with us this is Displayed like that.
March 19, 2020 at 5:43 am #180832
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshot you attached. To add borders around the swatches you need to add the following Custom CSS code in the Global Custom CSS area under Theme Settings Custom CSS.
.swatch-on-grid.swatch-with-bg { border: 1px solid black; }
You can change the color according to your needs.
Note: This will affect all the swatches on the product grids not a single.
Best Regards.
