d_chParticipantHi,
Do you have any recommended settings for WP-Rocket premium caching plugin for WoodMart theme?
Thank you in advance!

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Our theme doesn’t have any specific recommendations for this plugin configuration. We use a standard set of options.
Kind Regards

d_chParticipantMay I ask you please the following:
1) On File Optimization tab of the plugin, could you inform me which options have you enabled on Basic settings, CSS files and JavaScript Files?
2) Do you have Preloading activated?

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
1. Here are our settings from that part https://gyazo.com/0c4ddee598ca4524c770aff6184949a8 https://gyazo.com/854284077e6c4273579d575be1dd7c2f
2. No, we don’t use this for our demo.
Kind Regards

d_chParticipantHi,
Thank you for the screenshots.
1) If I enable “Minify CSS files” at WP Rocket should I disable at the same time “Include minified CSS” option from your Performance tab of Theme Options which is ON by default?
2) For some reason, my wishlist page seems also to be cached, please check my screenshot https://imgur.com/qTkikVB. Even if I add on mobile a few products on wishlist, it is not updated and it seems empty. Do you maybe have any specific URL added for WoodMart wishlist at Advanced Rules–>Never Cache URL(s) of WP Rocket? As I see, WP Rocket mentions that Cart, checkout and “my account” pages set in WooCommerce will be detected and never cached by default but not Wishlist page.

d_chParticipantRegarding my latest reply, I have a further update.
2) Regarding my 2nd question, I finally fixed the issue with the below settings at WP Rocket plugin:
Never Cache URL(s)
/wishlist/
/wishlist/(.*)Never Cache Cookies
woocommerce_items_in_cart
1) I still wait for your your further advice on this.
3) Could you also please inform me if you have lazy loading enabled from WP Rocket or only from your theme option at Performance tab?
March 28, 2020 at 7:56 am #182922
Artem TemosKeymaster1. You can enable both options at the same time.
3. We use only our theme’s lazy loading.
March 28, 2020 at 6:12 pm #183031
d_chParticipant3. And which value have you set at the field “Start load images X pixels before the page is scrolled to the item”?
March 28, 2020 at 7:45 pm #183037
d_chParticipantIn addition to my previous reply, is it also possible to exclude my logo and my footer images from lazy loading in order not to be lazy loaded at every page loading on site?
March 28, 2020 at 9:29 pm #183033
Artem TemosKeymasterThe recommended value there is
0-200

d_chParticipantIs it possible to exclude my logo and my footer images from lazy loading in order not to be lazy loaded at every page loading on site?
March 29, 2020 at 9:05 am #183074
Artem TemosKeymasterLazy loading works globally and it is not possible to exclude particular images.

d_chParticipantI finally achieved great speed loading results and I would like to share them with you 🙂
GTMetrix: https://imgur.com/Ym4qbO8 (Fully Loaded time: 3 sec)
ToolsPingdom: https://imgur.com/MQRQblj (Load time: 1.53 sec)Thank you for your useful advice.

d_chParticipantI have only one issue for which I would like to have your advice:
While having Lazy Loading and Hover image (from product styles) enabled, the images of my products on product category pages are loading too slowly, sometimes it takes more than 20 to 25 sec for a page to be loaded.
In order to resolve this and make product images to load faster via Lazy Loading at product category pages, I have to disable Hover image.
Is there a way to resolve this loading speed issue while having Hover image enabled?
March 29, 2020 at 9:20 pm #183095
Artem TemosKeymasterWe are glad to hear that! The loading speed of the particular image depends on a few things: your server performance and response time, image size and your internet connection speed. Our theme doesn’t influence this and we can’t do anything to improve that.
March 30, 2020 at 12:03 pm #183327
d_chParticipantI finally disabled lazy loading and my product images are loading really faster now at product category pages even with hover image from product styles enabled.
