Image Swatches on product page not showing in the attribute assigned.

    Swatches is set for attribute – “Gem color”.

    But shows up in the “Ring Size” instead.

    Sample product –

    This happened after editing the product for Attributes.

    There are a plenty of products that this has happened.

    Can you please look into this?

    Hello,

    The option you mentioned is to display swatches on the product grids.

    It seems that you have set the option “attribute drop-downs replace by square icons” that is why it is appeared. Please Go to Products >> Attributes >> Edit Attributes >> Configure items.

    And disable the option.

    Both the “Ring Size” and “Gem Color” have this option disabled. Yet the issue exists.

    Hello,

    I have logged in to your website. It seems that You have set the variation images from the edit product as enabled that’s why the images were displayed on the product page. I have disabled the option and the images are not displayed there.

    Sorry to say you proposed the wrong solution. By disabling the field you have shown all you are effectively doing is disabling the other variations.

    For the good of others referring to this thread in the future please look into the attached image. You have to effectively set which attribute you want the variation images to show in. This is in the individual product page (edit) -> Attributes -> Go to the specific attribute -> “Display product variations as images” and set this property.
