kevinasParticipantHi,
I choose this theme for the features. I installed the theme and demo content. I disabled only the theme plugins. The speed score is very bad from the get-go. This can be fixed off course, but what i am missing is your setup. Please share the chosen host, cdn choice, wp rocket settings, theme settings and whatever else you used to reach the speed score.
My client doesnt mind buying premium, but it has to be quick otherwise it has no use. And off course I can struggle and figure it out, but why invent the wheel if you know your settings and I can mirror that and be done.
Thank you in advance.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We prefer using BlueHost or WPEngine for WordPress websites to achieve the best speed. We use default Theme Settings Performance configuration as well as WP Rocket settings. As for CDN, we have used KeyCDN for our demo.
Kind Regards

kevinasParticipantThank you for this. I will get that all then. Also you used wp rocket?

Artem TemosKeymasterYes, we use WP Rocket as the only one plugin for all optimizations on our demo.

kevinasParticipantGreat. There is a export function on wp rocket settings, would you mind sending me that. it saves me on time. I’ll just set it up the exact same way. Thank you

Artem TemosKeymasterWe can’t send you the export of our settings, unfortunately. But here are our main settings screenshots

kevinasParticipantHi,
I wasnt that far yet, but I see a lot can be turn off. that is very nicely done. Together with a good server, wp rocket, cdn, lazyload and crisp image optimalisation I should be able to go a long way. I will certainly use this, thank you for pointing this out. Sweet!
Thank you very much for the screenshots of wp rocket, saves me some time. Your theme has loads of features, you seem to have thought of everything. I see a lot of love, sweet and tears went into this. Comment you on that.
You have advised me on either BlueHost or WPEngine… Have you every worked with Chemicloud and would you say they are in the same league as these two? I havent had experience with either of the two you mentioned, I did with Chemicloud, but on a smaller project, but was a breeze, good support also. A2 hosting has been a very poor experience, so I want to prevent that from happening 😉
Thanks again.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for your warm feedback. And thank you for sharing your experience since we didn’t work with that hosting yet.
As for the WPBakery generator, so we don’t use any of the listed elements there.Kind Regards

solarcaParticipantGreat info, should the settings in WP Rocket match the performance theme settings? e.g. include minified css, lazy loading etc. or should one or the other handle each of these?
Thank you.
May 13, 2020 at 9:07 am #194573
Artem TemosKeymasterThese options are different. Our Theme Settings are related to our theme’s files only. So they should be enabled both. Except for lazy loading. We suggest you to use our theme’s lazy loading only.
