dami_reParticipantIn the main search engine, is it possible to search by default in all categories? It is that if I do not choose categories it does not find anything and I do not like the AJAX search engine. Nor can I find where I can modify so that when selecting all the available categories are shown and not only the first 7 as I can see now. Thank you

dami_reParticipantFor searches without selecting a category without yielding any results despite putting the name of an exact article. And I also can’t see more than 7 categories when wanting to select a category. Thank you!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Select categories show all the Product categories existing in the site. When you select a category, the products related to this category are shown.
The search field can find products, posts, or projects. You can set this in the search element in the Header builder.
This is the way these functionalities work and it cannot be changed.

dami_reParticipantHello! I do not know if perhaps we do not understand each other by something of the language then. Please try to search for a product on the site without specifying any category with the exact name and you will see that it does not return any search results. You can also verify that you can only view the first seven categories as search options by category and not all of those available on the site. I think there is something on the subject or some routine that is preventing me from throwing solves. I found a link where exactly the same thing happened, but I don’t know how to fix it (https://www.esolutions.com.au/woocommerce-product-search-not-showing-results/). I provide them with access data in case they have any idea what might happen. Thank you

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated for us to investigate.

dami_reParticipantDisabling the Clever Layered Navigation Plugin now manages to find results. What has not been solved is that you only have to choose between seven categories in the search. Cheers!
