Filter by Attribute Is Not Working on Category Pages

    Dear Support,

    We have purchased support for this Woodmart theme. It’s a wonderful theme and fulfills all our requirements.

    We are just doing some settings on our website and just came across some strange problems. Need help in that.

    1 – Can we disable shop page? We are intended to use category pages and want to disable the shop page. Is there any way to safely disable it?

    2 – We added Brands using the Attributes section just like done in Woodmart theme. From the widget area, we added “Filter by Attribute” and selected brands from the drop down. This widget is being shown in the Shop page but not on other category pages. We are disabling the shop page which means the Filter by Attributes (Brands) will not be shown up as its not showing up on category pages and only showing on Shop page.

    3- Can we change the prefooter Brand Carousel HTML block to point to the brands in categories rather than redirecting to the shop page? We want to disable the shop page and use category pages instead.

    Hello,

    Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for the warm feedback.

    1/ It is not possible to disable the shop page. You can just not to show it in the menu. If you want the shop page to be redirected to any page, redirect it with a plugin.

    2/Add brand filter by means of WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav and set ‘All’ for the categories if it does not work, provide your site admin access.

    3/ Brand carousel item leads to a brand page with the product assigned. Brand/Category/Tag page looks like the shop page.

    Thank you for the prompt reply. We tried by the method you suggested but still the brands section is not showing up in the left panel on the category pages. I am sharing my website login access, please check, we will be really glad.

    Hello,

    You set the Home page and the Shop page as one and the same page. Please remove all the content from the shop page it is a functional page or make two different pages.

    Then enable the sidebar https://prnt.sc/sj8dq8
