tchubbParticipantI have a video background on a page that I will put in the private section.
I would like to make the video part smaller, and also to make the section that has the border around the text “the text box” wider.
I cannot figure out how to manipulate this?
I have tried to change the padding but it didn’t work the way I thought it would.
Please advise thanks.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
If you are using video in the row background for example from youtube then it set itself to the actual width of the row. You could not set its size.
So if you want to use a video in the section but of a specific area then you can use the video player module of the Wp-Bakery Page Builder and set it according to your needs.

tchubbParticipantThank you but I am using the woodmart template, that is in the video background section, so this video response is not what I need.
I am just confused on how to manipulate the padding and the rows of this element
If you need a screenshot I can show you but this is just the video element from your template called “section with video bg”

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You are Most welcome. I have tested the section with video bg and it uses the same method as I described you that using the row video background. You cannot assign padding to the video only it doesn’t have the settings available.
So if you want to use the video for the specific area then you can use the video player module of the WP-Bakery Page Builder.
And for the text inside it uses a row inside the row and it’s already on the column you cannot change to make it wider.

tchubbParticipantThanks for the explanation.
Is there an option to upload a video or can I only take it from youtube?
If I can only insert the video from youtube will I also be able to use other players (ad free players) like vimeo?
To clarify I am talking about the woodmart template section with video bg and not the wpbakery element.
Thanks

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You are Most Welcome.
You can use videos from Youtube in the URL of the video background of the section with bg video element of the theme. Sorry but you cannot use the videos from Vimeo in the row background element.

tchubbParticipantThank you, but is there a way that I can upload a video to my website and stream it that way?
The problem with youtube is that they put ads in videos.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
To use the video from your website and play you need to use the video tag of html. Then you can add it using the Text Block of the Wp-Bakery Page builder to add to the website.
You can read the following link for further help:
https://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_video.aspYou need to upload the video to your website and replace the link with the video on your website.
Best Regards.

tchubbParticipantI uploaded my video to youtube, and I inserted the link to the video in the required space in the element. However my video does not play for some reason.
Any idea of what I did wrong as I simply replaced the default youtube link and replaced it with my youtube link?
I provide the link in the private section and also the login information remains the same.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
To use the video player tag of HTML you need to upload the video to your website then it will be played.
Please upload the video to your website and then add the URL of the video on your website in the source then check back this will fix it.
Best Regards.

tchubbParticipantI don’t understand, what is the point of uploading to my website if the player is asking for a youtube link?
I attached the screenshot showing this.
If i am still confused, and somehow the video needs to be uploaded to, should i just upload it to media and then the youtube link will somehow work? or am i supposed to code a link to the video somewhere and use that link in the element somewhere?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshot you attached. You asked about using video from your website that’s why I provide you with the solution. Now as in your screenshot you cannot adjust the margins of the video when you set in the row background as I mentioned in one of my previous replies.
If you still unable to use a video in the row background then provide admin panel login details
of the website to check it myself and help you out accordingly.Best Regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Your issue has been solved please check this test page on your site: https://dev.primetimetallahassee.com/test-page-for-row-video-background/
The issue was your URL, The Row is the WP Bakery element and it does not work with a shared URL, I copied and pasted the URL in the browser Tab as shown in this screenshot: https://ibb.co/qdtQX1f and it worked.
I also checked this option in row setting as well: https://ibb.co/fvSfRQF
Best Regards.
