Filter dependence

    Hi

    I build the filter for my shop. It works fine and the filters only show, if you select a category.
    But if you go with next filter it show all filter atributes.. not only the atributes that are availabe.

    Example:

    Shop -> Filter 1: Category Superfood
    Filter: Brand: here it only should show the brands for the 3 products not all brand

    When it show all available brands.. the client will often have filters that not work.

    How can I do the filter are dependent on filter befor?

    if not possible.. can you pls add this feature? The way it work at the moment make no sense to filter..

    No its not working 🙂

    See printscreen “false filter”. I filtered categorie superfood and on brands (Marke) it show all brands added.

    See two other print screen. First is with all filter and second is with one filter. All filter that have no data for selected brand or filter don’t show content.

    On my side you filter categorie superfood and then select brand alessi. Then it shows no product cause no products have alessi brand in superfood. And now you have a miss filtering and clients will leave page..

    If you want filter categorie superfood and brand you have to try and figure out which two filter are suitable.. For this you don’t need a filter and for me this is a bug.

    They way it should work:

    Categorie Filter: Superfood
    Filter brand: only show brands in superfood categorie
    other filter: same as filter brand

    Hello,

    I saw the screenshots you attached. It’s not a false attribute. All the attributes are set to display on the filter form and they aren’t filtered in their view on the filter form when a certain category is selected on the filter form. It is the default functionality of the search form that you are using. Means you need to click the filter button to make it search for the products.

    You could not make it the same as the screenshot you added of the other website. It requires customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.

    But this make no sense so.. you filter categorie and the other filter show all data..
    There will be so many miss filterings..

    PLease change this.

    Hello,

    All these filters are based on WooCommerce filters widgets and our theme doesn’t influence their basic login. Check how it works with a standard WordPress or WooCommerce theme and you will see the same functionality. Also, you can restrict particular widgets to be displayed on some categories only.

    I think would make sense for all and also for the premium theme.
