Is Font Awesome Light option still working?

    Hi, I still see this option, but it looks like theme now uses Font Awesome files from WPBakery instead and if you choose to use either regular or light version of Font Awesome they are loaded for no purpose. Is this true? Are you going to provide new version of Font Awesome based on 5th edition?

    Since 21-02-2020 – Update version 4.5.0 our theme supports Font Awesome 5

    This is not an answer to my question. The question is what’s the purpose of Font Awesome light option if all the glyphs are already in Font Awesome files loaded by WPBakery? And if you are going to provide a working Font Awesome light option again?

    Hello,

    The purpose is not to load the site with icons if a user is not going to use them. You can use Font Awesome icons in the same way as you did it before.

    So what’s the purpose of loading any of Font Awesome files from Woodmart if all the icons are already loaded by WPBakery?
    Whatever value of Font Awesome library option you choose in theme options WPBakery Font Awesome files are loaded anyway.

    Now there is the option to switch them off. Earlier there was no option.

    Some users need it.

    It just deludes user as it doesn’t work as expected.

    HEllo,

    “Don’t use означає” means that we do not plug this library in with our theme, however, WPBakery Page Builder may plugin.

    “Light version” means that the library with a theme created icons is plugged in. These icons are required for our theme. However if WPBakery Page Builder plugs in its library, our theme library may block in this case “Always use” should be enabled and library would always be plugged in.

    OMG. I undrestand what these options mean. I just wanted to point out that the whole option is useless now as WPBakery loads it’s Font Awesome anyway. So if you select “Light version” or “Always use” you will have Font Awesome loaded by both WPBakery and Woodmart. So the only meaningful option is “Don’t use” making this selection useless…

    Hello,

    WPBakery does not load it’s Font Awesome anyway, but only in case of Icons element or element which uses icons from WP bakery are applied.
