i would like to add a header banner(or say picture) at the top of the product category, but no matter adding a coding at the description, upload an image at the “Image for category heading” or direct adding an image at the theme option> shop> HEADER BANNER, there is no feedback at all.

Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it?

Hi Artem, i just disable all plugins that are not related to woodmart theme but still not work.

Since it is a WooCommerce function, could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

You need to create an HTML block with WPBakery page builder and then put its shortcode to the category description field like [html_block id="1744"]. Check our documentation on this matter https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/add-banner-category-page/
