Yes, but WooCommerce filters work in such a way that after each filter link click the page is fully reloaded. So there is no option to select 1, 2 or 3 filters and then apply them. That is why, customers should see this “change in products” after each filter link click. If you will not close the hidden sidebar (that overlaps products) then customers will not see any changes and will be confused more.
