On our home page we have added a WC product carrousel. I noticed that when navigating the website on a mobile device, we cannot add to cart / wishlist directly from the homepage (using ajax). If we click the small icons, it takes us to the product page (rather than adding the product to cart or wishlist). From the product page we can then add to cart / wishlist, but I wonder why it does not work on the home page on mobile devices?
Is this a setting maybe I have turned off?
Is it maybe your themes CSS which I have not loaded?Thanks again

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area

I did what you said and there was no change. No plugin or theme was affecting this. However what I found is that the “Design” option I chose in the “Product Grid Or Carrousel” settings has an issue. Please look at image attached.
I think if you test your end you will see the issue too. Can you fix this?

ToriTori38ParticipantNo that is because I just changed the design display option, to one that works (but I dont like so much).
Please test your end and use the product display design that I showed you in the screenshot I sent you (where the icons are on the right of the product). It does not work on mobile devices.

ToriTori38ParticipantI showed you in screenshot previously. “Show summary on hover” version does not work on mobile devices (the ajax add to cart / wishlist). It just transfers you to product page. On desktop there are however no issues.

This is not to do with plugins. I have disabled all the plugins and tested and problem still remains. All other product display styles work correctly. It is only this style which has an issue. I have attached login details for test site. Please note there is also a password for the directory.
When logged in, look at the bottom of the home page on mobile device. There is a slider with WooCommerce products. You cannot use the ajax add to cart or wishlist on the products (you just get forwarded to the product page). Please note, you cannot reproduce this problem if you use a browser inspector in mobile mode from a desktop. You need to actually check on your mobile.

Now I have set all as it was. Please, first of all, check the issue on the parent theme, then if the problem persists, deactivate the plugins excepting these ones:
Slider Revolution WPBakery Page Builder Woodmart Core Contact Form 7 MailChimp for WordPress WooCommerce Safe SVG
Then activate one by one checking what causes the problem. You can check our demo it works well.

Actually the problem is not solved on mobile. You were just looking via the browser inspector.
Yes it’s strange. I also got it to work in the browwser inspector (mobile view) by deactivating the “Post Types Order” plugin.However it does not work in real life when trying on a mobile. I deactivated all plugins (except WPBakery Page Builder, Woodmart Core & WooCommerce) and it does not work. Yes it works in the browser inspector, but not on real mobiles.
Can you check once more?

I cannot enter the site on mobile. Deactivate these blocking systems or move your cloned site to a testing mode. Deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme. Provide the wp-admin access without additional authorization.

ToriTori38ParticipantHi there. I think it would be easiest is if you just add this product display option to one of your themes (or test environment) so you can see yourself when lookig on mobile. That would be the quickest.
As I said, I do not think it is an issue my side. I have tested and removed all plugins, and it still is a problem on mobile.

That is why I try to find out the reason as it is not the correct operation.
Such problems are often caused by third parties plugins or customization.

I think you did not understand. The screen video you showed me uses an icon layout (design) which does not have a problem. On our website that also does not have a problem.
You offer 9 different layouts. All of them work perfectly except for one. The one which does not work on mobiles is called “Show summary on hover“. If you try that on your own sites, I am sure you will see the same issue.
We cna use a different layout, but that Show summary on hover was the best for mobile (it keeps icons to the right side, so they do not cover the product image).

This is Summery on hover design. in Theme Settings (https://prnt.sc/tibswx), on desktop (https://prnt.sc/tibx8q), on mobile (https://prnt.sc/tibxle) I add the product to the Wishlist, then I add the product to the shopping cart. You can see that products are added without going to the product page. You can also see that the product has been added to the Wishlist.
Please describe your problem once again. Please specify the browser and device you use.
As you can see this design works well on mobile as it should.

I see the problem. You are actually selecting the product display setting from the Woodmart Theme Settings. In order to reproduce the error, you need to actually go to a page, and add the WPBakery element “Products (grid or carousel)”. Once you have added that, you can then select the “Show sumary on hover” display option.
Strangely this gives a different front-end appearance to what you show (see my screenshots attached). It is this version where the icons do not work correctly on mobile (real mobile, not page inspector). Sadly not sure how to take a screen video frommy iphone!
Maybe you now understand how to reproduce the error.

show summary on hover in the carousel has a bit different design as you can see. Carousel has the overflow: hidden and it is just not possible to leave the design.
Please add this code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS > Global to fix the buttons issue on this hover:
.browser-Safari .woodmart-hover-base:hover .fade-in-block { pointer-events: visible; pointer-events: unset; }
We shall fix this in our nearest update.
