Hello! Is it possible to somehow (‘Woodmart-natively’) add Attribute pages to the Category Dropdown menu? For example we would like to add this ‘Brand’ attribute Page, ..and many other brands.
    Thank you.

(Until now we had some Category pages for specific Brands., which is semantically, structurally not correct, so we try to get rid of them and only to use the proper Brand-Attributes (and its archvives etc.)

    Hello,

I saw the screenshot you attached. Sorry but there is no such option to add attributes as pages in the menu.

Because brands don’t have separate pages and the brand page is generated by WooCommerce and our theme doesn’t influence.

    Best Regards.

Hello, i would be in doubt about “…brands don’t have separate pages”. As i know attributes are a type of taxonomy, with being in the same DB table with ‘pa_’ prefix. Thus i would think it must be possible to support these pages that are being generated upon the pa_someattribute taxononmies? As i see they have supported archives (an example), etc.

Am i that wrong about this?

If so, than the ‘best’ possible solution for the foreseen future is to keep adding these pages manually one by one – as the dropdown category menu – submenus? (which is a problematic approach given its hard to maintain and links may break silently upon modifying slugs in some cases maybe 🙁 ?

    Hello,

As I mentioned in my previous reply the attributes pages are generated by WooCommerce and there are no specific pages for them.

The only way is to create separate pages for each brand and add products to it for that specific brand.

    Best Regards.

    Dear Aizaz,

I believe there is still some slight misunderstanding , maybe i explained it wrongly, let me try again:
So we created a ‘Brand’ product attribute, which is usually generated by the same way as Category, Tag, and other taxonomies, by the core WP/Woo engine isn’t? – as far as i know. So here i just still failing to see the fundamental difference between a Category and an Attribute’s workings.
Categories are already supported by the native WP menu system, (img attached abt Categories and PRoduct Categories marked) so at this point i still trying to see what do you mean by “specific pages” in this context?

I know it’s rather a developer-level question. Thank you for understanding my question/concern here.

    sincerely,
    Wiktor

    Hello,

As I said in my previous reply there is no option to add attributes to menu items.

You can try creating separate pages for each brand and then you can add products to the pages and set the taxonomies restrictions to that element.

You need to use the products grid/carousel element and set the options accordingly.
