random selection of brands

    in the site we build, we have for now installed 30+ brands and at final stage, we will have 100+

    we want to show them to our customers, but as far as we saw in theme settinngs, it is not possible to set a random selection of brand in pages we have include a code to show them (in visual composer)

    but, if we will showing only and always the same brands again and again, 6 or 12 or 18, it will be like we have no others brands and this is bad…

    so, my question is how to make a random selection of brands in any place we want to show them.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the question.

    The brand’s entity is a WordPress taxonomy and we get them from the database with get_terms() function. The problem is that function doesn’t have random order argument according to WordPress functionality so we can’t give you a quick solution. We will consider adding such ability in our future updates.
