silentmediaParticipantHi,
I updated to latest Woodmart this evening View version 5.2.0 and updated WPBakery in Core Updates. Now all WPBakery stopped working, I just see shortcodes everywhere.
I have had to restore site from backup. Is there a problem with update?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme and provide the site admin access to the private area.
Best Regards

silentmediaParticipantSorry for the delayed reply. I deactivated all plugins but still same problem.
I have created a staged site for you to check. It has the same problem.
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Such may happen https://prnt.sc/u8t9ll when you switch to Elementor or by the influence of other plugins. You will have to restore the site from the backup. And do not switch to Elementor.
Best Regards

silentmediaParticipantHello
I did not set Elementor. This is a clone backup of live site which uses WPBakery, the live site (pre upgrade) works fine .

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please remove all and migrate you clone site by means of free All in one WP migration plugin.

silentmediaParticipantSorry I don’t understand your answer.
You want me to me to make clone again and do not do the upgrade?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You say this is the testing site. This is the clone of your live site. When you migrated something was wrong. The easiest way is to remove all and migrate once again with the free All in one WP migrate.
Another way is to copy the shortcode from the live site and insert into the testing site instead of the current broken one:
Switch to the WordPress mode, then switch to the text mode, copy the shortcode and then insert on the other site in the page in the WordPress mode (text mode) then switch to Backend. https://gyazo.com/040218b1943125b92c15455d2208061c

silentmediaParticipantHi Elise,
There was nothing wrong with migration. The live site works fine and so does the clone.
Only when you upgrade it messes up. I tried as you suggest, no fix.
I have made a new clone of site, without the upgrade – You can see it works fine.
Now if you try to upgrade you will see it breaks.
I have disabled all non-woodmart plugins and provided admin access. Please check and try to upgrade.August 31, 2020 at 3:14 pm #222512
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please check now and show the page URL with the problem if any.
Best Regards

silentmediaParticipantHi Elise,
(please ignore attachment)
You’ve fixed it – Thank you.
What did you do please? I will need to recreate the same steps on our live site.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I have just updated the theme in Appearance > Themes > press update in the parent theme.
Please make the full backup of your site in any case before the update.
Best Regards
