Image 800*800 px, GtMetrix error: Serve scaled images

    Hello, i have just started an eccomerce store and bought woodmart.
    I use 800*800 px jpg for images, but when i test on gtmetrix, it tells me:

    https://www.snipe.ro/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/M940-snipe.ro-gaming-mouse-8-600×600.jpg is resized in HTML or CSS from 600×600 to 141×141. Serving a scaled image could save 28.1KiB (94% reduction).

    etc.

    What should be the dimension of an image? Thank you

    Hello,

    First of all thanks for choosing our Theme, we are glad to be you in the WoodMart WordPress family :-).

    The serve scaled images means that the image used in the website is being cropped from its actual size when used in the website.

    This is something not related to the theme.

    ok, so please help me
    Should i rescale all product images to 141*141?
    i have read somewhere that all product images should be at least 800*800
    I have only installed woodmart and woocommerce on my website, so it’s a fresh one.

    Hello,

    As I mentioned in my previous reply the serve scaled images mean to use the images to upload on the site need to be of exact dimensions in which they are going to be used.

    You can try uploading the images in exact dimensions. Or can try setting to cropping of the images according to your needs from Appearance >> Customize >> Woocommerce >> Product Images.
