Cannot update Plugins like WPBakery

    Hello, I have always trouble trying to update the plugins that come with the Theme.

    For example at the moment I need to update WPBakery but I keep on getting the same error.

    Can you please provide a detailed guide on how to do so?

    Hello,

    You can update the plugin in Appearance > Install plugins. If you have any problems (these problems are often caused by the host security or size max size limitations) you can upload and install via Dashboard > Plugins or FTP.

    1. Make the full backup of your site.

    2. Deactivate and delete the current version.

    3. Upload the new version from your portfolio on this forum.

    4. Upload and install.

    If you have difficulties, provide site admin access and FTP I will update. Please make the full backup of your site.

    If I do it through Appearance > Install Plugins is the process still the same?
    As in:

    1. Make the full backup of your site.

    2. Deactivate and delete the current version.

    3. Upload the new version from your portfolio on this forum.

    4. Upload and install.

    Or that’s just via Dashboard?

    Hello,

    When you update in the Appearance > Install Plugins, you just need to press “Update”.

    If the plugin update fails to any reason, you can update the plugins via Dashboard > Plugins:

    1. Make the full backup of your site.

    2. Deactivate and delete the current version.

    3. Upload the new version from your portfolio on this forum.

    4. Upload and install.

    That’s what I thought.

    WPBakery is not among the plugins in Appearance.

    Can you please check the screenshot and tell me if I’m doing anything wrong?

    As you can see next to “Plugins” I have 1 to update, which is WPBakery.
