Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

The page settings have the title background option. It was transparent on the white background of the page and the content was also white that is why you could not see. I have set the black background for the title and now you can see the categories https://prnt.sc/v3of3v

Thank you for your quick note.
I wanted to add an image in the background. Can we revert to a white background with the default image that comes when we import the demo? Besides that you will notice something called jewellery next to the home decor which has a small icon.. how do I remove it?
Could you redirect me how I can do the changes in the future?

Yes, sure you can set any color or image, if you change the background, check the test settings as well: Text color for the title – Inherit, Light, Dark;

I figured out the issue and I followed the suggestions before and read through your KB.
Yup the issue was I deleted all the demo images from the media file and SVG icons.. that’s why i couldn’t see the shop banner. I am slowly figuring out now
