scalderbankParticipantHello,
I’m receiving a recurring 503 error. It happens fairly often, around once or twice a day when I’m trying to load a page, but when I refresh the page it works. I thought it might be a memory problem, but I asked my host and they said it is related to the theme. I have included a login link and the full error message below.
Please could you look into this for me?
Thanks!

CostAeroParticipantI have the same issue. Next time you notice the page hanging, or any part of the site “hanging”. Go into Cpanel and look for the problem. You might notice this image similar to yours. i am on hostwinds.

CostAeroParticipantI had the problem with the Lightspeed Cache. I disable LS Cache thinking it would help. Nope! The problem is still there. So now I think the Theme has a Code or Script error causing the server to crash!

This is my post. I have the same problem as you. I also get the 503 error but only after the Freezing is finished. What is happening is a Script or Software on Theme is causing it to use CPU Resources/Memory and crash the server. The way to fix it is to close out the browser window.
I noticed when I was “multi tasking” it aggravated the problem. Meaning I would open in new window something, while navigating in another. The software did not appreciate multi tasking the site build perhaps you should see what Mannerisms you are using when working on your site as the source of the Script Errors?

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
500 Internal Error is a generic error and says about some issue on the server and can be caused by different things. Anyway, to understand its nature you need to see your server error logs or enable PHP error display on the website. If you can’t do this, you need to contact your hosting provider for help in this question. Here is an article that may help you understand the error better http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/

scalderbankParticipantHi there – I already asked the host and they sent me the full error, which I have included in the “private” message area below. They told me it is a theme issue, please could you have a look at the full error?

scalderbankParticipantHello – yes I have done this. I am still receiving the error from time to time. Is there anything else it could be?

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
How to reproduce the problem now? Please, disable all external plugins temporarily so we can test it.
Kind Regards
