Website Loading Speed Slowed down after Adding Category banner Images

Hi,
The page loading speed has slowed down after adding category title images. I checked the uploaded images sizes which are very small below 80Kb.
Also, first, the default background is loaded, then the image is loaded, making it look glitchy.
Please check it asap. Thanks.
