Buttons and color disappears on change

Hi,
I am trying to change the color of the theme under theme settings -> styles and colors.
After the change, the buttons and color disappear on the front page. Resetting to defaults does not work.
Restoring a backup from before the chage brings back the old settings. But changing again gives the same problem.
Please advise.

Thanks for the fast response. The issue with the buttons and colors are fixed, but the footer is now completely malformed.

Yet the same th8ng happende again after putting back a back up to solve the footer problem mentioned above.
The browse category button is missing and also the social icons.
Footer is malformed and slider appears to has changed its size.
