Images missing after initial demo import

Hello guys,
I recently installed Woodmart on a fresh wordpress version. I fully imported the default version and the demo “cosmetics”. But it seems like nearly all images are missing – and I don’t mean placeholder images. I already tried reimporting but those images are still mising. What is also strange is, that during the “Demo versions”-import, the import is already finished after 10%.

The images (placeholder images) could fail to upload due to PHP max input vars limit parameter in your web server configuration. You can check the current value for this parameter in your Dashboard -> WooCommerce -> System status. Usually, this parameter is not allowed to be changed on shared hostings so you will need to contact your server providers and ask to increase this limit. The recommended value for this is 5000.

Hello guys, thank you for the fast reply. No that does not seem to have been the case. I completely reinstalled WordPress and set the recommended value for PHP max input vars limit to 5000. Then I started the import again. Still no images are being imported.
Apartently I had to set the rights to the wp-content/uploads-folder to 755.
Now it shows all the images.
