All images disappeared from site on plugin update

    Hi there,

    I just updated 3 plugins and all of a sudden all the images on my site have disappeared (slider images, single page images and all WooCommerce images). The plugins I updated were:

    WordPress 5.6
    WooCommerce 4.8.0
    WPML Multilingual CMS 4.4.8

    The first 2 plugins I do not think are responsible ( I have WooCommerce 4.8.0 on another site and ther is no issue). So it is either with the latest WordPress update or the WPML Mulitingual update.

    Have you updated these plugins your end and did you have any issues?

    OK I have switched theme to a WP theme and I can see images again on the WC shop. So it is a compatability issue between our Woodmart theme and one of these 2 plugins I just updated:

    WordPress 5.6
    WPML Multilingual CMS 4.4.8

    If I disable WPML Multilingual CMS 4.4.8 the images still do not return, so I am wondering if it is an issue between your theme and WordPress 5.6 ?

    Hello,

    Please, update the theme to the latest version and disable all external plugins that are not related to our theme except WPML. Send us a link where we can see the problem on your website.

    Hi Artem,

    We are running Woodmart 5.3.4 and it is a conflict with the latest WP 5.6 (I downgraded to WP 5.5.3 and all the images reappear).

    I see you have released a Woodmart version 5.3.5, which fixes the jQuery error (that might be the issue)… however on the backend it does not tell me there is an automatic update to download. How do I therefore update to the 5.3.5 version?

    Hello,

    Try to go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on “Check again” button. Also, make sure that the theme is activated with your purchase code.

    Great that was the problem. I updated to latest Woodmart and all is good. Thanks again 🙂
