Search icon in mobile to open full screen ir drop down

    Hello there.
    I want to add an icon in mobile, next to cart icon, which works like in desktop (full screen or dropdown search).
    When i add the search in header builder in mobile version the icon open the offcanvas menu instead of search.

    Yes, that is right. You see the mobile menu has a built-in search and it is not possible to add an icon to mobile view, you can add the search in the search form.

    So, the only search option in mobile is the build in search inside mobile menu?
    Is not that user UX/UI friendly though!
    A user who choose to tap on search is expecting to see a search form, as it happens in desktop, and not a whole mobile menu.

    Tap to search icon must open a search form only.

    You should care about mobile experience more than you do.
    Mobile first is almost 2 years old now.

    Hello,

    Woodmart theme is designed mobile first.

    The mobile header is designed in this way:

    The search form (not full-width search called by the icon) can be shown in the Mobile menu or disabled. And you can also add a search form to the header.

    The mobile view does not support full-width search (icon-search) and it is not applicable in mobile.
