Install is not showing the homepage

Hi i just imported the woodmart theme and the homepage is not working, i dont have all the sample pages to select.

Hi the categories has an image that displays on the category page, but i just need it to have the black background with white words like previously, i tried to fix it but no luck, can you help please?

Please try to enable the dark mode in the Theme Settings> Styles and colors.
This is the global settings, the whole site would be dark. You can set the background for the shop page and the category page would inherit the settings.
