Hello we have been experiencing a very strange issue with our site we are using the latest Basel theme on. The site login page displays an error:

“Error: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output. For help, please see this documentation or try the support forums.”

We have tried replacing core WordPress files, disabling all plugins, but still occurring. Sometimes after replacing core files it is fine for about 15 minutes and then starts again. I cannot stay in the admin section long enough to make a change to a generic theme before it error 500’s.

Thought I’d check to see if this could be theme-related, I am not sure. Host was not much help (Hostgator). Thank you.

    Hello,

Please provide your site admin access to the private area.

Please confirm the permit for us to deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and switch to the parent theme for the while of checking what may take up to 15 minutes.

    Best Regards

Thank you, those credentials are correct, however the login isn’t working due to that error. Not sure why it says – Error: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output. For help, please see this documentation or try the support forums.

Does the Basel theme support the latest version of WordPress and php like 7.4?

    #273229

    Hello,

Yes, the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and php like 7.4.
Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

if the problem remains, even after the plugins deactivated, please, provide your site admin access to the private area.

Please confirm the permit for us to deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and switch to the parent theme for the while of checking what may take up to 15 minutes.

    Best Regards
