    Hello, with Elementor Pro I want to personalize the categories page. I want to use the “Product categories” element https://yadi.sk/i/XFxJBdBChK_a4A but in the settings of this item, I can’t choose to display the current categories. Is it possible to add this option?

    The display of current categories is available in Elementor Pro. https://yadi.sk/i/fToGys4TvTEizA and https://yadi.sk/i/DR3gOz5MaDlnIA but here I can’t edit the number of columns, and this is very important for me. So I want to use your “Product categories” element, but I’m missing this option https://yadi.sk/i/DR3gOz5MaDlnIA . Please help me.

    Hello,

    Do you mean a category page shows its sub-categories? If so, you can configure that in the Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product category, select showing the categories, then set the design of the categories in the Theme Settings > Shop > categories styles. The number of columns would be taken from the number of products in the Theme Settings > Shop.

    If you need to show the sub-categories by means of the Product Category element, you will have to insert the categories IDs in the element.

    This option does not suit me. I want to separate categories from products. To display categories in 5 columns, and products in 3 columns.

    You will have to show the categories by means of inserting IDs.

    And when do you plan a new theme update, and what will be new there? Will you have a closer integration with the Elementor plugin?
