Shadows in category layout

    Hi there,
    I’m working on the ‘Demo Furniture’ Layout, as like like the product category carousel of its demo homepage. However, when I work on my website, even I edit straight on the demo content, I notice there are a border/shadow outside each product category box now. As you can see, this border/shadow greatly affect the clean look that I chose this demo in the first place. I wonder what changed or how can I achieve a border-less category box?

    I tried adding .cat-design-alt .category-image-wrapp { box-shadow:none; } , Custom CSS section in Theme Settings, but it is not working

    Please find the option to disable the product category shadow in the Theme settings > Shop > Category Style.

    No cache plugin installed, tried in chrome incognito mode too.

    I am using elementor, can I install wpbakery over elementor and adjust this settings?

    Hello,

    WoodMart works with either WP Bakery builder or Elementor builder at once, but not with both at the same time. In the process of the installation of the plugin, please install one building plugin, you are going to use. It is not possible to convert an existing site that is built on WP bakery page builder into Elementor. In order to have a site basing on the Elementor builder, it is necessary to replicate the site from scratch on a new WordPress installation with the Elementor plugin.

    Oops. My problem not yet got solved with your suggestions, when I installed elementor version, how I will get a wpbakery setting page ( you given wpbakery screenshot ), there is no option in elementor to remove shadow inside editor, as you told I tried to remove in settings page and it is not working. what should I do now.

    Hello,

    You will have to reinstall all and create your site from the scratch, there is no other solution, unfortunately.

    What was your initial builder? Have you made the backups of your site to roll back?

    I have created fresh version with elementor, and I tried to remove the shadow from category option in theme shop settings, it is not working , I have sent my site credentials, kindly look in to the issue.

    Actually after seeing your replies, I can clearly understood you were not in a mood to understand what customer coming to say, kindly go through from beginning of this topic what is my issue and where have you been taken it, I applied for a refund, so you can now leave this issue unsorted. Time is everything, for getting a golden reply from you I need to wait 4 to 5 hours.

    Hello,

    I am terribly sorry for the confusion. Product category widget does not have this option, unfortunately. I have submitted the issue to our development department and they would add this feature in one of the nearest updates.

    Meanwhile, this custom CSS can solve the issue: 

    body .categories-with-shadow .wrapp-category {
    box-shadow: none!important;
}

    I do hope you would change your mind, this theme is a powerful tool you would enjoy.

    Thanks for the update , unfortunately I have bought another theme and started to develop. I loved your theme so much, so only I bought it, next time if I have any project or if I change my mind with newly bought theme .I will once again buy your theme.

    Hello,

    WoodMart would be updated in the nearest days. The theme would get even more options including template Library for Elementor and other tools very useful for developers as it would cover the wide range of purposes and needs.

    I do hope you would have more projects we will do our best to provide high-level support.
