    I’m trying to: translate my products hosted via WooCommerce on my WordPress site with WOODMART theme into EN and ES.

    URL of (my) website where the problem appears: https://www.manury.com/

    I was expecting to see: a full translation of my product pages into EN and ES

    Instead, I got: a partial translation of my product pages. Initially hosted in FR, my products on the EN or ES pages remain only partially translated, despite the string translation via WPML.

    The response from WPML support is as follows:

    I see that some of the content is not showing up in the translation editor, as it seems that the Xtemos “Section Title” Widget and some of the other Xtemos widgets are not compatible to be translated with WPML.

    I suggest you contact Woodmart support and provide them with the following information:

    https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/how-to-add-wpml-support-to-custom-elementor-widgets/

    Could you please help me? Thank you

    Hello Elise, thank you for your feedback.

    I have opened several tickets with WPML support, because some translations are not done.But it seems that the problem comes each time from the “Xtemos Elements” present on the creation of pages Builder ELEMENTOR PRO (you will find several screenshots below where I encounter these problems)

    -> Example: Page “Who are we” the WPML translation is not done on “Access point image” coming from an “Xtemos” element

    URL link: (EN) : https://manury.com/en/?page_id=10661
    (ES) : https://manury.com/es/?page_id=10659

    -> My products hosted on my Woocommerce site : some boxes do not translate ” Sections listes ” , ” informations box “, ” images gallery “, ” list ”
    (Valid on all product pages of the Woocommerce store)

    URL Links: (EN) : https://manury.com/es/produit/banco-de-trabajo-plegable-con-ruedas/
    (ES) : https://manury.com/en/produit/folding-workbench-on-casters/

    -> My Blog posts do not translate on Xtemos elements, examples on “information box” or on “title sections” (Cf screenshots)
    (Valid on all blog posts)
    URLs links : (EN) : https://manury.com/en/what-are-the-roles-of-screwdrivers/
    : (ES) : https://manury.com/es/cuales-son-las-funciones-de-los-destornilladores/

    Thank you very much for your help!

    Hello,

    As far as I see you show me the page content.

    WPML creates a page version (not the translation, it does not translate the content) it creates page versions. For example, initially, your site is in English, you create a German translation, for example, and all the content of the German page would be English till you change it to German.
    A page builder is just a layout of the content determining where you place the image, text banner, and so on. This is the way the WPML works. Please make the full backup of your site and text all the problems on any other free theme.

    I compare the pages you provide they are in different languages as they should be. Which WoodMart element do you mean?
    EN: https://gyazo.com/9086a159cbed950f29dfc32f1a6362c4
    ES: https://gyazo.com/ecda5680b8d13777a5b0b8e402e9adf2

    Show me the block which is not translated.

    Best Regards

    Hello Elise,

    Yes, I understood that WPML was doing the translation of the pages.

    The problem is that the WPML support sends me back to you because there is an incompatibility between the XTEMOS elements available to build the pages and WPML.
    And on their side, the WPML support doesn’t have the hand on it to act !

    So I give you the different bugs related to XTEMOS elements in screenshot below.

    Obviously, my pages are translated in EN, and in ES thanks to WPML, except for the XTEMOS elements, which are only present in some places on my site. (CF my previous message)

    To know :

    -The translations of titles
    -The information boxes
    -Images in access point
    (…) For all XTEMOS elements.

    And so these problems are reflected in several places of my site:

    -The products in my WooCommerce store
    -My Blog articles
    -The image in access point on the page ” who are we “.
    etc…

    -> Example: Page “Who are we” the WPML translation is not done on “Access point image” coming from an “Xtemos” element

    URL link: (EN) : https://manury.com/en/?page_id=10661
    (ES) : https://manury.com/es/?page_id=10659

    -> My products hosted on my Woocommerce site : some boxes do not translate ” Sections listes ” , ” informations box “, ” images gallery “, ” list ”
    (Valid on all product pages of the Woocommerce store)

    (ES) : https://manury.com/en/produit/folding-workbench-on-casters/

    Hello,

    Please have a look at the screen:

    https://prnt.sc/11wvl32
    https://prnt.sc/11wvkc7

    You have created the page in the Elementor and you have not translated the hotspots.

    Hello Elise,

    Thank you for answering one of the problems encountered in my ticket.

    Regarding the operation you asked me to perform, we tried to do it with WPML support and it doesn’t work, moreover the “center point” of the image jumps and is off axis!

    https://manury.com/en/?page_id=10661

    Could you also answer the issues in my previous ticket please? I have to return the site on Friday to my client and there are way too many bugs as it is!

    Thank you for your understanding

    Hello,

    I compared today two pages and still do not see the difference, I mean translated and not translated elements, now we are checking with dev department and see that this page https://manury.com/en/?page_id=10661 is empty now. Please make it as it was so that we could check.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

    I’m sorry, but it still doesn’t work. Here are the screenshots below.

    I’m still having the same problem, that is, the XTEMOS elements that helped me create my product pages for my store via ELEMENTOR PRO do not translate with the WPML plugin.

    On the example in the screenshots, you can see very clearly that only the text paragraphs translate. The title sections and info boxes, and any other Xtemos element do not translate.

    Hello Elise,

    Yes, thank you, it seems that WPML support managed to solve the problem.

    Here is what they did:

    Here’s how to make the 2 widgets translatable, “Title Section” and “List”, by including this code in WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration:

    <wpml-config>
    <elementor-widgets>
    <widget name=”wd_title”>
    <fields>
    <field type=”Section title: title” editor_type=”LINE”>title</field>
    <field type=”Section title: subtitle” editor_type=”LINE”>subtitle</field>
    <field type=”Section title: after title” editor_type=”AREA”>after_title</field>
    </fields>
    </widget>
    <widget name=”wd_list”>
    <fields-in-item items_of=”list_items”>
    <field type=”Lister: content” editor_type=”LINE”>list_content</field>
    </fields-in-item>
    </widget>
    </elementor-widgets>
    </wpml-config>
