madpeterParticipantHello
Unfortunately WooCommerce PayPal Payments Plugin (version 1.3.1) doesn’t work well with Basel theme.
The payment buttons on the checkout page are located above the “your order” section instead of below this section.
Please see the attached screenshot.I have tested it with other few standard themes installed with WordPress/Woccommerce (and commercial ones as well) and the plugin works fine with them.
Please advise.

madpeterParticipantThis a different plugin on your screenshot – PayPal Checkout
I need your help with WooCommerce PayPal Payments Plugin (also called just PayPal) which is currently switched off as I mentioned in the “private content” section.

madpeterParticipantI’m sorry for the late response. The solution you provided resolve this issue, but we have currently discovered another one problem, which seems to be related to the Basel theme when we use this particular payment plugin. Anyway, it we don’t experience this behaviour with default WordPress templates.
When the customer indicates in the checkout Paypal as the payment method it shows him a black colour “Place order” button, which shouldn’t be there. I’ve attached two screenshot to my post, for the 20-20 theme and for the Basel theme, so you can see yourself what I’m talking about.

madpeterParticipantHello Elise
The site is workable again. There was a temporary problem with the VPN server.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
We have tested with the Storefront and we see the same there: https://take.ms/iWJBC
This is either Woocommerce bug or Paypal plugin. Our theme does not cause or influence that.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

madpeterParticipantAs per my initial message, the problem doesn’t appear with the default WP templates and you can clearly see it on the attached screenshot. So how can you suggest that the issue is not related to the Basel theme??
July 12, 2021 at 11:22 pm #306197
madpeterParticipantWe have found a solution. The default Paypal payment plugin (called WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway) has to be be deactivated in the Plugins section. Switching the plugin off in the payments section of Wocommerce settings is not enough for some reason.
