2) Add a mobile menu, opening on the left
3) Create a header for mobile
4) Add a mobile menu, opening on the right
AS IS : header desktop opens the mobile menu on the right, instead of the left
TO BE : left/right settings should be respected

This is not a bug. The mobile menu is designed for Mobile view only. Yes, you can add this element to the desktop, however, this element would work as it is configured in mobile view. Mobile configuration is the priority.

But then it’s not logic to give a setting that therefore isn’t working as such.
– Either the setting “LEFT/RIGHT” in the Mobile Menu is removed for Desktop Header builder
– OR the setting should be fixed to work separately well on Desktop Header
Otherwise, you’re providing a setting that isn’t working.
In a user-perspective, it’s not good.

The mobile menu element is not designed for the desktop. It would take us huge code to involve to make the mobile menu appearing in the mobile-only that is why we do not hide.
You will have to either remove the mobile menu or configure appearing from one side both on mobile and on the desktop.
