fgmadmParticipantHello,
We are using WPML to translate the site. When we add a translation to a page, we would like to see the WP Bakery backend or front end, however, we are forced to use WPML Translation Editor.
How can we disable the WPML translationg editor and use page builder to translate?
Thanks.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please refer the article from WPML documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/translation-editor-options/

fgmadmParticipantI am not asking this.
I want to translate the content inside the page builder. Isn’t it possible?
May 29, 2021 at 4:12 pm #296406
fgmadmParticipantI also cannot get menu’s working. I made the html blocks translatable and I translated but I cannot see them. I used html blocks on menu to make the menu mega.
You never explain how to do those things in your documentation. Could you please help?
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The content inside the page builder is just replaced with your translated content.
Please check and follow this article: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/translate-header-wpml/
Please check the menu on any default theme to detect if the problem is caused by the theme or incorrect translation.
Best Regards

fgmadmParticipantHow do we clone the header?
May 31, 2021 at 7:17 pm #296748
fgmadmParticipantI figured out the header but now I cannot find the HTML block as described in the article. I see that I translated the HTML block but it does not show under admin_texts_xts_woodmart_options. What am I doing wrong?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
HTML blocks applied in the Theme Settings are listed in the WPML strings. Please make sure you are searching the proper HTML.

fgmadmParticipantYes, I see those HTML blocks. I’m talking about an HTML block that I use in menus. I use them for creating mega menus. How am I supposed to find that HTML block? I searched in all the domains but still cannot find.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please provide your site admin access to the private area.
Please advise what menu item and HTML blocks you are trying to tranlsate.

fgmadmParticipantIf you go to German language and HTML blocks you can see that there is one block translated. Menu Projects is the name.
Also, while looking at this, could you please tell us why featured images of projects not carried over to translated projects? It is very time consuming for us to add featured images manually.
Thanks.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
When you create an HTML block you crate two in the same default language. So you need to have the couple of blocks in English, one with the English content and the second with the German content.

fgmadmParticipantSo, did you fix? I really do not understand what you mean here. I thought you were going to fix and show us how you did it.
I am going to try to explain again step by step.
1. I created Menu Projects HTML block [html_block id="351"] in English.
2. I assigned this HTML block in main menu.
3. I trasnlated Menu Projects HTML block [html_block id="8433"] to German.
4. Now, I want this translated HTML block to be shown as a mega menu similar to English version. How can we do this? Can you do it for me?
Thanks

fgmadmParticipantHello,
We had a problem with updating the theme. Here is what happened.
I went to the themes and I couldn’t see any updates. Then, I went to the updates section of WordPress. There, I saw a theme update named Woodmart. So, I clicked on update and it looked like it was updated and I went to required plugins section and updated the plugins as you can see.
However, now we ended up three themes. One is Woodmart and the others are the ones we were using actively. To look more professional, we are renaming the themes. So, the ones you see in the themes section. We believe it might cause the problem. Could you please tell us how to update the theme in this case? Would manually uploading all the files to the folder we renamed work?
Also, what are we going to do with the theme named Woodmart which says update is available? Although, I click update and it processes, it always says the update is available.
Thanks for your help.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please make the full backup of your site and confirm I can update.
Please note, all the content would remain the same, however, some blocks or something may require recreating, basing on my experience there would not much-broken blocks, by they may be considering very old current theme version.
Best Regards
June 8, 2021 at 5:30 am #298262
fgmadmParticipantHi,
I have backed up everything.
How could the blocks may be broken? This theme version is only two months old.
Anyway, you can update the theme and could you please tell us how you do, so we can do ourselves next time?
Also, please tell us how to translate that HTML block after the update.
Thanks.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Your current version is 5.3.6. dd. 11-12-2020
Best Regards
June 8, 2021 at 12:53 pm #298403
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I have updated the theme. I have looked through the site, and I see that only the footer menu has been reset.
As for megamenu blocks: please translate and synchronize the menu as you usually do in WPML.
Create cloned HTML blocks with different language content in the default language.
Then switch to the appropriate language in Appearance > Menu and insert the HTML blocks.
Best Regards
