massive problems with script processing in the store

Hello,
we have since Update (extremly) and also before many problems with the Shopping cart and checkout process in the shop. If the customer wants to pay either by invoice or by Paypal, the process sometimes takes so long that it is canceled. We use on the Server the PHP version 7.4.20 with this settings (see screen and video file in the attachment).
What can we do to force the process or better to fix this issue?

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

OK, i have change the theme to a Standard Theme (TwentyTwenty) and we have no time out issue anymore. In the attachment you will find two short videos for the direct comparison fro both Themes.
Woodmart theme > not acceptable > 52 seconds to finish the process
Twentytwenty > OK > max. 10 seconds to finish the process

This is an active productive system. We can’t just turn that off. We can make a copy of it and put it on another subdomain. The error is then traceable in any case. We can provide all access points for this. Would that be OK?
Sure, you can create a staging clone of your website where we can check the problem.
