Translations disapperead after Update and cant translate new Strings in Loco

Hello i have a problem i updated the Theme a day ago and my translation files disapperead and i cant find them anymore but thats not a problem because i saved the Translation Files in a wrong directory and only have translated a few things. Now my problem is that when i translate something with loco translate it isnt working it doesnt appear on the website itself. For example i tried to enter Wishlist – Wunschliste but does not appear even after several tries what can i do?

Please restore your theme from the backup, save the translated files in wp-content/languages/themes/woodmart-pt_PT.po folder.
And then update again, all translation would appear again and never reset.

Hello, my problem is that i dont have a backup that i did after the translations thats my biggest problem or i wouldve restored right after. or does wordpress do a automatic backup of the old files after an update?

Please contact the host support perhaps they have automatic backups of your site. For the future, always make the backup before any update, install a new plugin.
Otherwise, you need to recreate the translation and save it properly to avoid such further updates.
