We figured out the problem – it had to do with the SSL on the website but thank you for all you assistance.
I have one more question, it seems that the shop filters on the shop page have disappeared – are you able to tell me how to bring it back?

I do not remember if they were there. How did you add them? Were they top filters or in the sidebar? Try to check if the top filters have been enabled.
