George22ParticipantI have a store in two languages, Greek and English. Greek is the default one.
Navigate to the English shop page, select a product and add it to the cart. Then go to the Cart and Checkout pages. Notice that some shipping methods like “Fee” or “Free Delivery” aren’t translated in English.
These work as soon as you switch the language (from English to Greek) and then go back to the English one.
Am I missing something or this is a bug?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have visited your website and the shipping methods on the cart and checkout page are completely translated.

George22ParticipantYes, I know that the strings have been translated.
Did you repeat the process I described above?
Just go and shop something directly in the English version (don’t switch between the two languages). You’ll see that some strings related to shipping like “fee” or “free delivery” haven’t been translated. They’re still in Greek.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have followed the process you mentioned and the text is working fine.

If you are trying to ask anything else then provide a video explaining the issue to check it myself and help you out accordingly.
Regards.

George22ParticipantOk, I’ll do it.

George22ParticipantOk.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please go to WPML >> String Translation >> Click the scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Translate texts in the admin screens link. https://cdn.wpml.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/translate-texts-in-admin-screens.png
This will take you to a searchable list of admin strings. Find the Words that you want to translate and then select those words and add them to the string Translation then you will go to the WPML >> String Translation >> then find and translate them into other languages.
Best Regards.

George22ParticipantHello,
I’ve already translated these strings. Please see again my video. I’m talking about a specific case. When you’re in the English version and add something in the cart, the Free/Free Delivery strings aren’t translated. These work as soon as you change the language. I replicate exactly this thing in the video.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
Regards
September 28, 2021 at 12:42 pm #321694
George22ParticipantHello again,
I migrate the website and still this issue exists. I tried from different devices and browsers.
If you check the admin, you’ll notice all these strings have been translated.
September 28, 2021 at 12:53 pm #321703
Artem TemosKeymasterPlease check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront. And send us a screenshot so we can see if it is caused by our theme or not.
September 28, 2021 at 3:27 pm #321752
George22ParticipantYes, it works with Storefront, so I think is a bug on theme.
September 29, 2021 at 6:15 am #321860
Artem TemosKeymasterI have just checked both our theme and default theme and it works correctly on your staging website

George22ParticipantPlease check it better on the live site. There doesn’t work and all strings have been translated.
Also, just as a note as soon as I activate Storefront (what I did yesterday on the live site) I lose the price and categories sidebars on product archive pages and I have to reinsert them. This happens as well in the staging, but this isn’t important for me at the moment.
September 29, 2021 at 6:59 am #321881
Artem TemosKeymasterWe need to be able to see the problem on your staging website if you don’t allow us to switch between themes on your live website. This problem can’t be caused by our theme and that is why we have to verify that it works with the default theme first.
September 29, 2021 at 7:04 am #321883
George22ParticipantNo, it’s fine to do it on the live site and I’ll fix any issues.
September 29, 2021 at 9:17 am #321930
Artem TemosKeymasterJust tested this on your live website and don’t see the problem now. https://gyazo.com/ab6a2029c87315e65bd162f1aa13539c
Steps I performed:1. Opened the shop page in the Incognito Chrome tab
2. Add a product to the cart
3. Went to cart and switched to the English version using the dropdown in the topbar.
September 29, 2021 at 11:42 am #321995
George22ParticipantNo, the scenario I’m talking about is a bit different.
1. Open the shop page in the English language or navigate directly to an English product
2. Add a product to the cart
3. Go to the cart
There some strings don’t receive the translation.
September 29, 2021 at 12:04 pm #322002
Artem TemosKeymasterYes, now we see it and it happens only when our custom AJAX add to cart is turned on. Please, send us your FTP access so we can check what is wrong.
September 29, 2021 at 12:10 pm #322005
George22ParticipantSure, thanks.
September 30, 2021 at 6:39 am #322154
Artem TemosKeymasterHave you changed anything in Settings? Now it doesn’t work at all even with the default theme. Please, check the screenshot https://gyazo.com/f113da3183e383abd654dff29c8b2e2c
September 30, 2021 at 6:42 am #322158
George22ParticipantNo, I didn’t change anything
September 30, 2021 at 6:43 am #322159
Artem TemosKeymasterCould you please check with the default theme now?
September 30, 2021 at 6:47 am #322162
George22ParticipantI see that isn’t working, but did you change anything in the files?
This is strange and was working.
Strings have also been translated https://prnt.sc/1u6vec8
September 30, 2021 at 6:48 am #322163
Artem TemosKeymasterWe haven’t changed anything since we just started checking this and noticed that it doesn’t work at all. We recommend you consult with WPML support for help on this matter.
September 30, 2021 at 6:52 am #322165
George22ParticipantSorry but this doesn’t help me at all. This was working before aprat from the AJAX bug.
September 30, 2021 at 9:38 am #322227
Artem TemosKeymasterYes, but it doesn’t work with other themes as well. It means that it is not caused by WoodMart. You can ask WPML support for help since it is related to the plugin.
