Hello, there are multiple variations in our products. The products have different colors. Each product has 3 different sizes. I choose color as variation. If I don’t click on the size options at the bottom, the image does not change. When you click on the size after choosing a color, the same image should appear in all of them.

Hello,

It is the default behavior that when you have different variations depending on each other then the image will change when all variations are selected.

Hello,

Sorry but it is not possible to achieve what you require because the products and variations are woocommerce functionality and our theme doesn’t influence.

You need to find a plugin for that.

The problem could be solved if you add an option for the default variations value, so if you have 3 sizes (8,9,10), you can make the smaller value is the default.

Hello,

With this thread I now also discovered this possible solution by choosing a default size, many thanks to neero. However this pre-selects a size in quick view and single product page, so I’m afraid of people forgetting to change the size and ordering the wrong one.

I’m puzzled how the product grid swatches work then? Because there the image changes to the correct color (taken from the variation main images I assume) when selecting only the color (which is the only attribute swatch you can select on product grid) and without choosing a default size.

Hello,

@Premium Bike Wear Sorry but this mechanism doesn’t work for the product variations.

The only workaround is to set the default variation value. Otherwise it requires Customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
